Santa Paula Agriculture Museum Field Trip

February 21 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

What: Students, educators and community members are invited to participate in a fun, hands-on  tour of learning stations and exhibits throughout the Ag Museum galleries.  The stations focus on second-grade curriculum, including plant growth, farm to table labor dynamics, seasonal produce, beneficial insects, farm practices past and present, water issues, and more!  Visitors can also explore the Museum’s permanent and temporary exhibits, explore themed garden beds, sit on an Oliver tractor, and experience many more hands-on interactive displays.

Cost: $7 per student ages 5+.  Bring cash.  Parent Chaperones and younger siblings free.

When: Tour begins at 9:30, but please arrive at 9:15 for me to check you in, collect cash, and put on name tags.  Please try to bring exact cash.  I don’t know how much change I will have.

They ask that parent chaperones remain attentive and involved in the tour.

Please view the teacher packet for guidelines as well as educational resources relating to our tourFY24 AG Teacher Packet (1)

If you would like to bring a picnic lunch for after the tour, they recommend eating under the gazebo across the railroad from the museum.
