What: Visit/Tour of National Weather Service/NOAA, Oxnard Office
When: Thursday May 15th 10am
Time: 10 a.m., please arrive at 9:50am to check in with Bonnie so we can assemble and be ready to begin on time.
Where: 520 N. Elevar Street, Oxnard, CA 93030
Who: ACHEV Members 3rd grade and up, some exceptions for younger siblings in 1st-2nd may be made.
Cost: Free
Maximum number of participants including parents: 50
Content of the tour: The tour consists of a 20 minute media-rich PowerPoint presentation on severe weather, a 20 minute demonstration of the operational workstation, and a 20 minute stroll through their one-of-a-kind Global Monitoring Exhibit.
