SUMMARY:**Cancelled**Wilderness Skills Outdoor Adventure
DESCRIPTION:**Cancelled Due to Low Enrollment***   \nHello Everyone.  There’s a lot of information here\, so please read it all.  (Also since there is a lot of info here\, please let me know if it looks like I might have made a mistake somewhere).  The information at the beginning is general information for all of the outings\,  and towards the bottom I will add more specific  details for each outing as the information becomes available.  The specifics of each outing can’t be known too far in advance because things depend on weather and what nature is providing at the time (water availability\, natural plant availability which depends on rainfall\, etc).  These outings are being led by “Tracker Rob”\, and tracking animals is his specialty\, but he has many survival skills and a love for nature that he enjoys sharing.  There are many exciting skills to learn\, and we will start on Feb 15 with a survival skills basics outing\, which will be followed by going more in depth into skills such as animal tracking\, shelter making\, and edible and medicinal plants.   You will get all the specifics via email after you register\, so please make sure to include your email address when you sign up.  Please contact me (Bonnie) with questions first.  I will be the main point of contact for the outings. \n\nDear Parent or Guardian: \nWelcome and thank you for your interest in attending my Nature Connection/Outdoor Education outings.  Many exciting nature and outdoor skills topics and activities are planned for the Spring 2024 season\, February – May.  As you know\, Bonnie Adair is organizing and your child/children have been invited to attend.  The following information lists what you’ll need for your child/children to enroll in these outings. \nThe outing dates reserved for SPRING 2024 (February – May) are: \n   February 15  (Thurs)       March 7 (Thurs)         March 28  (Thurs)      April 18 (Thurs)  May 9 (Thurs) \n  The Fee for attending each outing is:  $ 60.00 per child per outing. \nParents are invited to attend\, at no charge\, and are very much welcome. Drop off is okay for these outings. \n** ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES (SPRING 2024 SEASON) **  \n\nPlease confirm your child’s/children’s enrollment for each outing by signing up on the sign up sheet below.  We need to have a proper count of the number of children attending.  Your verbal or written (email) confirmation to have your child/children attend an outing (or outings) secures your child’s/children’s spot AND is an official commitment to attend.\n\n                                   Sign Up Sheet Here   **You can sign up for all the outings using this link.  There is one spreadsheet with a separate tab for each date.\n **We need a minimum of 7 students and we can have a maximum of 12 \n\nPlease complete and submit both the WAIVER and MEDICAL Forms Before or At the outing your child will attend!   These forms are required for both children and adults.  They may seem daunting but are standard procedure for outdoor programs. Please complete and submitted only once for every new season).  Thank you for your understanding and completion/submittal of these.  (Note from Bonnie – please submit these in advance\, I think this would be best.  To submit in advance\, please email completed & scanned forms to bonnieadair@verizon.net and I will forward to Tracker Rob.)\n\nwaiver & medical form to complete\nPayment Policy\n\nPayment for your child’s attendance to an outing is due before or on the outing. (see Payment methods below)\n\n**IMPORTANT NOTE:   If you enroll in an outing and do not show\, you are still responsible to pay in full for each child.\n\n\nWhen your enroll your child/children to attend an outing (or outings)\, you will receive a confirmation email (from Bonnie Adair) prior to each outing (about 10 days in advance).  It will have information (site\, topic info\, equipment list\, directions\, etc) for that upcoming outing.\nNo credits or refunds are given for a missed outing(s) with the exceptions of:    a) an extreme circumstance;  b) emergency event;   c) an outing cancelled by Rob.\n\n—————————————————————————— \n** PAYMENT METHODS **\n(Please pay $60.00 per child per outing) \n> Venmo:   use  323-804-9600 (RobertRemedi). \n> PayPal:    use  “robremedi@hotmail.com // “Sending to a friend“ \n  NOTE:  Please do not send as “paying for an item or service”; we’re both charged a fee. \n> Zelle:   Use  “robremedi@hotmail.com \n> Check or Cash:    Pay at the outing (checks made out to Robert Remedi) \n———————————————————————————————- \nCONFIRMATION INFORMATION FOR EACH OUTING \nEach month you will receive an email from your group leader (Bonnie Adair) confirming each month’s outing (we have two scheduled for March).  It will contain detailed information for that upcoming outing\, ie\, program description\, equipment list\, location\, and directions\, as well as any additional specifics. \nAgain\, look for an information/confirmation email\, from your group leader\, about 10 days prior to the outing. \nIf you have any questions or concerns about my policies\, any aspect of outings\, or need more information\, please contact me by phone or email. \nI look forward to providing educational and nature-connection outings for your child/children! \nRob Remedi \n805-499-2924 \nrobremedi@hotmail.com \n\n
