DESCRIPTION:What: Tour of Urbane Café Camarillo. Learn about a “fast casual” restaurant and how to make a great sandwich! \nDuring the field trip\, we will split the class up into two groups. The first group will get a tour of the kitchen\, learn how we prep some of our ingredients\, get to play with some dough\, help us make some bread\, and learn the POS system. While the first group is in the kitchen\, the second group will be given some crayons and a color page wither they can create their own sandwich. Once the first group is done\, we will have them switch places! When everyone is done\, they will all get a small piece of pizza. DESCRIPTION:What: We would love to invite all ACHEV girls 6th grade and up to meet up at the park for some time together drawing/doing art projects and getting to know each other.   If your daughter likes baking\, she can bring a home-baked treat and recipe to share with the other girls. \nWe are meeting at Soule Park in Ojai.  Soule Park is a super fun retro park and the location is beautiful.   We will meet at the rocket ship play area.  There are several parking stalls and a bathroom right there. \nPlease note there is a $2 parking fee. \nWhat to Bring: \n\nBlanket/chair\nDrawing supplies/Art Journal\nAny other craft your daughter is working on (friendship bracelets\, watercolor\, knitting\, etc)\n(Optional) Home baked treat/snack and recipe\nPicnic lunch\n$2 parking fee\n\nWe plan on having a get together in this area one Monday every month\, so keep your eye out on the calendar and plan to join us. \nNote: If you have younger kids\, I am also adding park day to the calendar at the same time and place for littles.  I have a 5 and 7 year old (boy/girl) who will be playing at the park while the older girls visit with each other. \n

SUMMARY:Calvary Center Stage Production of Peter & the Wolf
DESCRIPTION:What: A special school field trip production of Peter & The Wolf.  Last year we attended their production of Frozen Jr. and it was a very memorable event! \nCalvary Center Stage is cordially inviting your school to attend a production of Peter & the Wolf and other concert pieces in collaboration with Los Robles Children’s Choir and the Conejo Valley Youth Orchestra. This is a free event\, but a reservation is necessary to secure seats.  I have reserved 30 seats for ACHEV.  There is only one date for the show on Friday\, March 31 @ 10:00 am. The show will run approximately 45 minutes\, and students will have an opportunity to play some of the instruments in the lobby after the concert. \nAlthough the performance is only 45 minutes\, students will have a chance to try some of the instruments in the lobby after the concert. This will be made available until 11:15 am. \nThis is an Open Seating Event. Doors open a half hour before the performance.  I would like to meet up in front a little early (before doors open at 9:30) so we can try to sit together as a group.  Last year\, they did organize us by group and have special assigned seating by group.  As the event gets closer\, I will confirm with them what the seating arrangements will be and let everyone know what to do and where to meet. \nSign Up Here.   Sign up deadline is March 24\, 2023.  Please include all students and parents attending on the sign up sheet.
