DESCRIPTION:What: ” Let’s come together to appreciate the people who keep our county running smoothly!” \nPrivate group tour of the Ventura County Public Works Day Event.  Our Group tour will be conducted before this event is open to the public . \n“Join us at the Government Center parking lot G\, which will come alive with exciting display booths\, including the ever-popular heavy equipment demonstrations and inspiring career booths.  Get hands-on with interactive stations led by VCPWA staff and discover the essential services that keep our cities and counties safe and thriving. Don’t miss this full-filled opportunity to explore the work of Public Works!” \nHere’s a short promo video from Public Works Day 2024 \nWho: ACHEV Members\, all ages. \nWhen: Our tour begins at 9:40\, please arrive by 9:30 to check in with Jena so that we can be assembled and ready to begin on time. \nHow Much: Free \nOther Details:   \n\nStrollers should be fine for most of the area but may be a challenge if they want to go upstairs in the govt center (there are elevators though). Littles of any age are welcome.\nMost of the tour is outside so hats/sunscreen\, comfortable shoes\, etc are encouraged.\nParking and meet up location will be given to attendees closer to the event date.\n\nSign Up by May 15!  Limited to 30 people so sign up ASAP!
