DESCRIPTION:What: Come for a fun filled\, educational field trip learning about native and edible plants at the beautiful Otto & Sons Nursery in Fillmore.  One of the activities planned is a scavenger hunt.  We want to see you there! \nOtto & Sons Nursery was established in 1976 by Otto and Jeanne Klittich and their four sons; Bob\, Bill\, Scott\, and Karl. Prior to starting the nursery\, Otto landscaped in the Southern California area as “Landscape by Otto” for 22 years. From a 2 ½ acre property in Chatsworth\, the nursery was relocated and has expanded to 28 acres in Fillmore.  Read more… \nWho: ACHEV Members\, all ages along with their parents. \nWhen: Wednesday October 23\, 2024 at 9:30am.  Please arrive at 9:20 to check in with Spring and be prepared to start on time. \nCost: Free!  But bring extra $ for the gift shop and plants. \nAdditional Notes: \n\nYou may bring a snack or lunch to enjoy in the garden.\nThere is a bathroom inside the garden area.\nDo not bring dogs.  There are a couple of farm dogs that roam the property.\nPark in the dirt parking lot and we will meet close to the entrance.\n\nSign Up: Sign Up using this link no later than October 15th\, 2024.\n  \n
