SUMMARY:Urbane Cafe Ventura Field Trip
DESCRIPTION:What: Tour of Urbane Café Ventura. Learn about a “fast casual” restaurant and how to make a great sandwich! \nDuring the field trip\, we will split the class up into two groups. The first group will get a tour of the kitchen\, learn how we prep some of our ingredients\, get to play with some dough\, help us make some bread\, and learn to be a cashier. While the first group is in the kitchen\, the second group will be given some crayons and a color page with which they can create their own sandwich. Once the first group is done\, we will have them switch places! When everyone is done\, they will all get two pieces of cheese pizza. Finally\, we will hand out awards certificates to every student that is good for one free meal. \n***I also set up a field trip at the Camarillo location on Tuesday September 24th so you can choose the location/day that is most convenient for you.  Please make sure you are signing up for the correct one. \nWho: All ACHEV Members *While this tour is geared towards 1st-5th graders\, older and younger students are welcome to attend\, as well as parents.\nWhen: Wednesday\, September 18th 8:45am – 10:15am\n*Please arrive 5-10 min early to check in and be ready to begin on time\nCost: Free\nContact: Bonnie Adair bonnieadair@verizon.net 805-504-6457 \nNotes/Additional Info: Limited to 30 people.
