DESCRIPTION:You do not have to be an ACHEV member to attend this meeting. It is open to anyone in the community considering home education. \nYou are welcome to attend part or all of the evening! \n6:30 – 7:30: This is especially for anyone new to or considering home education\, all ages. Andie Savard will cover all the legal options for teaching at home in CA\, groups you need to know about\, how to get started\, home education styles and methods\, curriculum choices\, and more. Invite anyone interested in home education. \n7:30-8:00 – Mingle\, browse curriculum samples\, talk with the presenters one on one\, and enjoy refreshments. \n8:00-9:00 Last hour\, we DIG IN to homeschooling through high school. This is a very detailed\, in depth meeting. Cara Shelton will walk you through various strategies\, requirements for each\, and unveil the possibilities.
