SUMMARY:Sew Your Own Dance Skirt workshop\, day 1
DESCRIPTION:This is a 4 day workshop for ACHEV girls and parents\, grades 6-12. There is only room for 4 students\, so please sign up ASAP\, by September 8th. \nIt has been a dream of mine for a long time to share my sewing experience with ACHEV. I would love to help your daughter learn to sew a dance skirt! \nAs much as I wish we could start from the very beginning\, this class is not for beginners. If there is enough interest in a beginners workshop\, maybe I will offer that another time. For this workshop\, some basic sewing machine skills are important.  Also\, this is not a drop off class. Parents\, please come and learn with your girls! Only sign up if you plan to attend all four days. \nThis is limited to four students that meet the following prerequisites: \n\n6th grade and older\nBasic skill with straight-line sewing with a sewing machine\nPortable sewing machine that you know how to use\, the manual for it\, and basic supplies\n\nParticipants will need to purchase a suitable sewing pattern and fabric. I will provide a list of suggestions. If you need help with the shopping\, you may make an appointment to shop with me ahead of time. I have flexible time most Fridays. \nThe workshop will be held at my home in Ventura\, M-Th September 17-20\, 9am-11am. \nSign up by September 8\, please. DESCRIPTION:Hello Swing Dancers of ACHEV! \nI’m Eliya Frantz. Joe Hidley and I\, a fellow swing dancer\, have been coming to ACHEV dances for many years and have been to many many swing dance workshops in the past. \nWe will be teaching Swing dance workshops on April 14th for anyone who has the desire to gain more skill and confidence in their dancing. This is open to all levels. We’re working on making this as effective as possible in improving the quality and confidence of all dancers who love to swing. Here are the details: \nWhat: \nAn opportunity to learn and practice on how to be more smooth and confident in the style of Swing dance\, and Lindy-Hop if time allows. \nWhere: \n178 Furman Avenue\, Ventura 93003 (Susan Pineda’s house) \nWhen: \nSaturday April 14th: Beginners 3:00-5:00. Intermediate/Advanced 5:00-7:00.
