They are working on making the lessons as effective as possible in improving the quality and confidence of all dancers who love to swing. These lessons are for anyone who has the desire to gain more skill and confidence in their dancing. New moves will be taught in the intermediate and advanced classes (see list below for the moves that will be taught). Students will be given tips on how to improve their skills and will be taught dance etiquette. We will also be focusing on counting\, as this plays a major role in leading the dance and following. Sign up fast\, there are limited spots! \nWhen: Saturday\, August 24.   (Sign up by August 22nd) \n-Beginners (no experience necessary) 11:00am-12:00pm\, \n-Intermediate class (must be comfortable with swing) 12:15pm-1:15pm \n-Advanced (must be a confident swing dancer comfortable with dips) 1:30pm-2:30pm \nCost: $5 per student (per class) \nWho: ACHEV students and guests (who are attending the dance) 6th grade and up. \nWhere: 7427 Marmota CT. DESCRIPTION:What: Dance Workshop just in time for the annual ACHEV Christmas Dance.  Even if you can’t attend the Christmas dance this year\, we will be having more dances\, and you can join this workshop to pick up the basics of some of the different dances we do so that you’ll be ready for the next one.  This is a great way to try it out with minimal commitment\, or to refresh/review/refine your steps if you have taken lessons in the past.  One day\, 90 minutes\, and we’ll go over 3 different dances (TBD). \nWho: ACHEV members ages 10 and up and also any guests signed up to attend the 12/11 Christmas dance.  We must have an even number of boys/girls for this workshop.  If there are not enough boys signed up\, the girls that signed up last will not be able to attend\, or vice versa. \nCost:  $12 per student – cash\, check\, Venmo\, or Zelle.  Venmo  enter  Patricia-Monico in your account\,  \n     Zelle  enter 805-650-2719  in your account.  You can pay when you come in.  \nDress: Comfortable\, modest\,  shoes should be closed toe.
