Or is there\na scripture that inspires you?\nIn this workshop we will experiment with collage\, printing\, painting\,\nsplashing and having fun with acrylic paints! Art will be on a canvas\nboard. Please cut out some pictures from a magazine or have a\nword for this project. \nExpand Your Drawing Skills\n5 weeks – Mondays 3:30 – 5:00 pm\nFeb 26\, Mar 4-25\n$90\nStudents will bring their sketchbooks to class and learn how to\nemphasize value and work on their sketching skills which are\nfundamental to drawing and painting. We will begin with a still life\,\nperspective of a castle\, portrait as well as a figure. I will assign\nhomework so they can continue exercises outside of class. \nPortraiture with Oil Paints\n4 weeks – Mondays 3:00 – 5:30 pm\nApril 1 – 22 (no joke!)\n$185 – includes oil paints only\nBuilding on the idea of value we will sketch out a simple portrait and\nthen learn how to mix flesh tones for light and in shadow.\nPease bring 2 filbert brushes (#8 & 10 – they are roughly ¼ and ½ “\nwide)\, a variety of flats and round brushes\, 2 canvases or canvas\nboards\, and a roll of paper towels or a rag to clean brushes.\nRegister at www.Art-n-You.com/classes.
