SUMMARY:Swing Dance Lessons
DESCRIPTION:ACHEV high school students Hannah Osborne\, Ella Silver\, and Nick Sanders are teaming up to offer swing dance lessons to improve students’ swing skills just in time for the Back to School Dance! They are working on making the lessons as effective as possible in improving the quality and confidence of all dancers who love to swing. These lessons are for anyone who has the desire to gain more skill and confidence in their dancing. New moves will be taught in the intermediate and advanced classes (see list below for the moves that will be taught). Students will be given tips on how to improve their skills and will be taught dance etiquette. We will also be focusing on counting\, as this plays a major role in leading the dance and following. Sign up fast\, there are limited spots! \nWhen: Saturday\, August 24.   (Sign up by August 22nd) \n-Beginners (no experience necessary) 11:00am-12:00pm\, \n-Intermediate class (must be comfortable with swing) 12:15pm-1:15pm \n-Advanced (must be a confident swing dancer comfortable with dips) 1:30pm-2:30pm \nCost: $5 per student (per class) \nWho: ACHEV students and guests (who are attending the dance) 6th grade and up. \nWhere: 7427 Marmota CT.
