SUMMARY:Knitting and Crochet Group
DESCRIPTION:Mrs. Pineda has offered to open her home one Friday morning a month throughout the year to host Knitting and Crochet Group for ACHEV students fourth grade and older and their parents. It will likely usually be the 2nd Friday of the month from 10am until noon\, but may change sometimes to work around other ACHEV activities and events. \nKnitting and Crochet Group is a drop in monthly time to learn a new skill or just to bring whatever knit or crochet project you have in progress. This is not a drop off class. Parents are encouraged to stay and participate\, but if you are unable to stay\, you may arrange with another parent to chaperone or participate in your place. \nMrs. Pineda would love to help you reach your knitting and crochet goals by teaching skills in small projects to learn the techniques you need to succeed. There may be dates for which she will have a special optional project in mind\, such as learning to dye natural yarn\, a spinning or weaving demonstration\, felting with wool\, or perhaps a field trip to an alpaca or sheep farm should the opportunity arise. \nThis year she has decided to try having enrollment so she can plan ahead based on how large the group is.
