DESCRIPTION:Join us for a beach play date on Monday May 14th at Carpinteria City Beach at the end of Linden Ave (near the intersection of Linden and Sandyland). It’s best to look for free street parking which is typically really close.  We will be meeting nearby the volleyball courts.   One tip I have for this beach is to bring shoes that will protect your feet from the hot sand while walking to and from the car and if you want to play Beach Volleyball\, flip flops don’t do the trick.  The sand is beautiful and clean\, but gets hot very quickly when the sun is out.  I will be there with my blue beach tent and my kids will have their body boards.  We are bringing a picnic lunch\, but there is a neat little burger stand within walking distance from the beach called “The Spot”. \nI checked out the water quality report and it has been deemed safe for swimming https://www.theswimguide.org/beach/1607 \n  \n
