DESCRIPTION:Photo from ACHEV Prom 2024\nACHEV students 10th – 12th grade\, you are invited to the ACHEV Prom! \nPlease RSVP and purchase your ticket in advance\, no later than May 24. \nOur prom is different from other ACHEV dances\, so please read these important details so you will be prepared. Thank you. \nPayment options: \n\nZelle (Preferred) achevmail@gmail.com\, put “ACHEV prom” in memo.\nMail a check to: ACHEV at PO Box 6657\, Ventura CA 93006\nMake arrangements to deliver payment in person to Bonnie Adair (bonnieadair@verizon.net) or Susan Pineda (must_sew@yahoo.com).\n\nThis year\, our venue is a lovely business showroom and garden patio property near the beach in Carpinteria\, generously secured for us by ACHEV dad\, Ivan Gregory. The event will have inside and outside access. While there will be heating\, it can be cool near the beach in the evening\, so please be prepared for possible cool weather. \nPlease remember: \n\nThe prom is a non-dating group event. (No Public display of affection.)\nBe kind and respectful in your speech and behavior toward everyone.\nBe careful and respectful of the venue.\nDisplay Christ-like\, welcoming attitude toward all.\nNo inappropriate forms of dancing.\nOnly ticket holders and chaperones will be allowed at this event.\n\nWe will be upholding the dress code. If you have any questions\, please feel free to contact us ahead. \nThe Prom is a truly formal event – suits and ties for the gentlemen\, and long or below knee length formal gowns for the ladies. Please note if a gown has sheer layers\, solid fabric must be below the knee. \nGentlemen: \n\nTuxedo or suit.\nDress-shirt must remain tucked in.\nTie required. It may be a traditional tie\, a  bow tie\, or ascot tie.\n\nLadies: \n\nLong or below knee length formal gowns. If there is a sheer overlay\, the skirt underneath (solid fabric) needs to reach below the knee. No skirt slits above the knee.\nPlease wear leggings or shorts underneath.\nNo low-cut\, strapless\, backless\, or halter tops. Straps need to be at least one inch wide.\nNo exposed cleavage or bra straps.\nNo peek-a-boo holes or sheer openings.\n\nWe recomment comfortable dress shoes\, or dance shoes if you have them. We are renting a nice dance floor.
