DESCRIPTION:ACHEV students 10th – 12th grade\, you are invited to ACHEV’s first ever prom!  \nSaturday April 29\, 5:30-9:30 pm \n5858 Terra Bella Lane\, Camarillo \nPlease RSVP by April 21 \n$60 – includes dinner and dancing \nOur prom is different from other ACHEV dances\, so please read these important details so you will be prepared. Thank you.  \nPlease RSVP and purchase your ticket in advance\, no later than April 21. \nPayment options: \n\nZelle (Preferred) darylavril@hotmail.com\, put “ACHEV prom” in memo.\nMail a check to: Avril Hill 217 Nellora st\, Camarillo\, CA 93010 \nMake arrangements to deliver payment in person\n\nIf you purchase a ticket but are unable to attend\, we will gladly refund if notified no later than April 22. Sorry\, no refunds possible after April 22. \nGUEST: ACHEV student grades 10-12 may purchase a ticket\, and may decide to also invite one guest\, 9th grade or older\, including graduates. Your guest will also need to purchase a ticket. A guest can be an ACHEV 9th grader\, or a non-ACHEV 9-12 grader\, or graduate. This is a non-dating group event – in a sense\, everyone is “going solo” with ACHEV students grades 10-12 having the option to invite a guest. \nPlease RSVP for your guest on the sign up sheet and confirm that they have read the dress code and etiquette. \nCHAPERONES: Due to space constraints\, chaperone priority will go to parents of ACHEV 12th graders first\, then ACHEV parents of 10-11th graders\, then others parents as space permits. Chaperones will have assigned duties throughout the evening. Thank you. \nDINNER is included\, catered from Presto Pasta.  \nPROM KING & QUEEN: We will have an opportunity to vote for a class of 2023 prom King and Queen. \nThe venue is a lovely private property in Camarillo\, generously offered to us by friends of the Hill family. We will not have access to the home\, so there will be portaloos. The event will be held outside\, so please be prepared for possible cool weather. \nPlease remember: \n\nThe prom is a non-dating group event. (No Public display of affection.)\nBe respectful in your speech and behavior toward everyone.\nBe careful and respectful of the venue.\nDisplay Christ-like\, welcoming attitude toward all.\nNo inappropriate forms of dancing.\nOnly ticket holders and chaperones will be allowed at this event.\n\nWe will be upholding the dress code. If you have any questions\, please feel free to contact us ahead.  \nThe Prom is a truly formal event – suits and ties for the gentlemen\, and long or below knee length formal gowns for the ladies. Please note if a gown has sheer layers\, solid fabric must be below the knee. \nGentlemen:  \n\nTuxedo or suit. \nDress-shirt must remain tucked in. \nTie required. It may be a traditional tie\, a  bow tie\, or ascot tie.\n\nLadies \n\nLong or below knee length formal gowns. If there is a sheer overlay\, the skirt underneath (solid fabric) needs to reach below the knee. No skirt slits above the knee.\nPlease wear leggings or shorts underneath.\nNo low-cut\, strapless\, backless\, or halter tops. Straps need to be at least one inch wide. \nNo exposed cleavage or bra straps. \nNo peek-a-boo holes or sheer openings.\n\nNO STILETTOS or pointy heels. We are dancing on a basketball court and it has little holes in it that your shoe will get stuck in. We encourage comfortable dress shoes.  \n \nQuestions?
