Let’s get together at the park and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a craft, some Irish fiddle, a St. Patrick’s Day picture book, and lunch together.

We will meet at Camarillo Grove Park.  It’s a beautiful, quiet park with so much room for play and exploration.  My teen son, Maxwell, has been playing fiddle for about 8 years and he will play an Irish fiddle tune or two for the kids.  We will bring an old student violin for the kids to try to play if they want.  My teen daughter, Alexandria, just started learning to play bagpipes, so she may give a demonstration as well (we won’t be able to allow anyone else to handle the bagpipes).

Bring a picnic blanket and an Irish or green/rainbow themed snack/lunch item to share with everyone.  Your RSVP will help me plan for craft supplies.  RSVP here.  Thanks!  This is geared toward the pk-elementary crowd, but all ACHEV members are welcome.

Please note: Camarillo Grove Park is an off leash dog park, and there is a $3 parking fee.
