A few important things to know….
~ The gift shop can accommodate no more than 10 students accompanied by 2 chaperones at a time.
~ They would prefer no strollers (let me know if this is a problem for you)
~ Backpacks are prohibited on tours and in the gift shop. They should be left in your car.
~ Children must observe appropriate etiquette and respect in the church and cemetery at all times:
A. The Mission Church is a sacred space. We ask all who visit to help preserve the sanctity of the church by maintaining a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. No running, climbing on pews or loud voices are permitted.
B. The Historic Cemetery is a sacred burial ground, a peaceful and quiet resting place where families and friends can visit deceased loved ones. It is not a playground and should not be treated as such. Absolutely no running, shouting, rolling around on the ground or playing on the monuments is permitted. Violation of this policy may result in your group being asked to leave without refund.
~ To preserve the artwork, FLASH photography is not permitted in the Church or Museum.
~ The exhibit cases in the Museum are fragile. Please do not lean on or use the cases as writing surfaces.
~No pets are allowed. Please present credentials for Certified Service Animals.
~ No food or drinks are permitted on the tour route. There is a picnic area near the lower parking lot available for our use before and after our tour.
I’m planning to take my girls to Alice Keck Park Memorial Gardens after our 1 hour tour at the mission. Please pack a lunch if you would like to join us. It’s only about 4 minutes away.
Park Address: 1500 Santa Barbara, SB 93101
