SUMMARY:Reel Guppy Two Part Fishing Experience
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a two-part fishing experience led by Kevin Brannon of Reel Anglers Fishing Show and Reel Guppy Outdoors. One day we will learn the ins and outs of fishing at the resource center.  The following week\, we will actually be able to fish off Hueneme Pier.  All fishing supplies will be provided by Kevin. Cost is $15 per student. Parents can fish for an additional $5 or attend for free.  All ages welcome.  Younger students may fish with parent involvement.  Only students that fish will need to pay. This is not a drop off field trip.  Parents please stay and enjoy the fishing experience with your kids. There is a 10 student minimum and a 20 student maximum. \nPart 1 – Thursday\, April 7 at noon: \nWe will meet at the Reel Guppy Resource Center at the Channel Islands Harbor. Kevin will teach the students about the anatomy of fishing\, species identification\, lures\, and more\, so students will be ready for the actual fishing experience. We will finish around 1-1:30pm.  Please arrive 15 minutes early (11:45am) so I can collect payment.  Cash or check.  Checks should be made out to Reel Anglers Fishing Show. You must attend this day in order to fish the following week. \nReel Guppy Resource Center \n2741 S. Victoria Ave Suite D \nOxnard\, CA 93041 \n Part 2 – Thursday\, April 14\, 8:30 am-11:30am: \nThis time we will meet at Hueneme Pier to fish. You will need to pay for parking so please bring cash.  Parking permits may be purchased at vending machines located in the lot. $2 per hour or $8 for an all-day permit.
