Pumpkin Patch at Limoneira Ranch – Field Trip

Scroll down past the blue “Google Calendar” button where it says “Details” and then below that find “Website” and click on the link to a Google Sheets sign up sheet where you will fill out your information in order to reserve your place for the field trip.
What: Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch at Limoneira Ranch sponsored by the Rotary Club of Santa Paula.
History abounds at Limoneira Ranch, a farming operation established in 1893 with barns, outbuildings and farm equipment for everyone to enjoy. Spend an extraordinary day in the country experience the joy and laughter which naturally occurs during a visit to the Pumpkin Patch.
- Learn how a pumpkin grows
- Pick your very own sugar pumpkin to take home
- Play on the Hay Pyramid
- Go on a Hayride
- Visit the FFA Petting Zoo: There are goats, sheep, cows, and ducks to pet!
- Bring a picnic lunch or snack to eat in the picnic area
- Play in the Hay Maze
Who: Everyone!
When: Tour starts at 10:00, please arrive between 9:40-9:45 so that we can collect, count cash, and pay before the tour starts. If you are bringing a picnic lunch, we will also be getting those out ahead of time and putting them on a picnic bench where we may eat later.
How Much: $7 per person, students & adults. Please bring cash. Children 2 and under are free, but will not receive a pumpkin. Students will get to choose a sugar pie pumpkin included in the field trip fee. Adults, even though required to pay, will not receive a pumpkin included in the fee. Remember that these fees help to support the non-profit organization Santa Paula Rotary Club.
A variety of pumpkins and gourds will be available for purchase after the field trip. You can pay for those with cash or card.
What to Bring:
- Water: There is no drinking water on site, so make sure to bring enough with you
- Lunch or snack if you wish to eat after the tour
- Hats, sunscreen
Other Information: The regular weekend vendors are not there on field trip days, so you must bring your own food and water.
Dogs are not allowed
Directions: 12471 Foothill Road across from Olivelands School, there will be signs. You can either take Wells Rd to Foothill, or take the 126 and exit Briggs.
