Have you ever heard your children say, “I’m starving,” “there’s nothing to eat,” or “I don’t like this meal!”? Do you wish your children had a greater appreciation for what they have? As a homeschool mother of four, it pained me to hear my boys’ lack of gratitude for all the Lord had given them. One of the reasons we homeschooled was to teach our kids about who God is and that they can play a part in His plans. My husband and I wondered how we could open our children’s eyes to the abundance they had before them.

When: Tuesday, December 10th, 10 am-12 pm: Please arrive 10 minutes before your reservation time and check in at the Poverty Encounter entrance of the building. Each tour is 90 minutes with a 30-minute service activity during which guests will be able to pack food for families in need. There is a considerable amount of walking and standing throughout the experience so please dress comfortably.
Cost: $7 per person ages 6 and up. 5 and under, free. Paid in advance. Sales for this event will close two weeks before the event on November 26th at 10AM.
