Come for an educational presentation from the Oxnard PD school resource officers and tour the building.  You will have a chance to ask questions, find out what it takes to become a police officer, and learn about the job that they do.     On our tour, we should be able to see things like the dispatch room, briefing room, holding cells, detective offices, motorcycles, and maybe the Bearcat and SWAT team.  If you sign up for the field trip, email me at bonnieadair@verizon.net and let me know what your kids most want to see or talk about.

There are stairs to climb, and some areas are small, so please do not bring strollers.  You can bring your babies, but you will need to carry them.  There is one bathroom near the entrance of the police department that is used by the public.

We can have up to 30 people including parents and will be divided into two groups for the tour.
