I have not had much time so slow down and free read lately. Maybe this is you too? However, a book was just recommended to me recently, Before We Were Yours, by Lisa Wingate. I was intrigued how my friend was moved by this book and the clincher for me to read at this time in my life of busyness, is that it was an easy read. Not necessarily the topic, but the writing style. The book is based on a true story.

The book is readily available at libraries, Thrift Book, Amazon, etc.. I ordered my book from the Ventura County Public Library and at the time it looked as though there were many copies.

Read the book over the summer and plan for a meetup/book discussion with Alfresco Dining, potluck style, on the deck.
