Medieval Times Field Trip – Buena Park

I booked the Heraldry Package for Our Group, which gives us preferred center section seating and each person a cheering banner in the color of the knight we will be cheering for.

Who Can Come: All ACHEV Families. You may bring non-ACHEV siblings (graduates included) to this event. We do not have a chaperone limit, so mom and dad might both want to come, and you may also invite grandparents if you think they would enjoy it. Children under the age of 3 are welcome and admitted free as long as they sit on adults’ laps and eat from their plate. If you prefer the child to have his or her own seat and meal then the regular rate would apply.
When: Thursday October 19, 2023. Show time is at 11:30. Doors open at 10:30 and they recommend that we arrive at 10:30. If you sign up for this field trip, please plan to be there at 10:30. This will give us time to check in, use restrooms, explore the castle where they have lots of fun things to look at, and also browse the gift shops. Seating begins at 11:15.
Cost: $40.03 Per Person ages 3 and up. Must be paid no later than October 4th. This price is inclusive of tax and gratuity.

Refunds: If you notify me by 10/4/23 of the need to cancel, I can refund your full payment. Refunds after that are not possible. If you give me one or two days notice, I can request a credit that can be used at a matinee to be scheduled in the future (no expiration date).
How to Sign Up: Please sign up as soon as you can commit to putting this on your calendar. I have to sign a contract and make a deposit in August with final payment due two weeks before our field trip. It is important for me to know well in advance what our group size will be. Deadline to sign up is October 4th, but it would be really helpful if you don’t wait until the last minute. Thanks =)
Before you sign up for this field trip, please understand that this is located in Northern Orange County, near Knotts Berry Farm. Traffic will be bad so the drive will be long.
There is some extra information I need to collect for this field trip. Here are some of the additional things you will see on the sign up sheet.

- Special Needs: Please make a note in the sign up sheet if you need accommodation for a wheel chair or walker. Please Be Aware: Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is a live horse show in an enclosed area. Persons with respiratory conditions, allergies or asthma should attend at their own risk. Medieval Times uses stroboscopic and pyrotechnic effects.
- We get to have a group announcement. It should be 5-8 words and is subject to Castle approval. If you have a suggestion for our announcement, please include that on the sign up sheet.

Dress Code: Coming in costume would be fun! Our Family plans to be in period costume. Please be aware that real and fake/toy weapons are not permitted! Make sure to leave pocket knives, toy swords, etc. in the car! Per ACHEV’s guidelines (as seen on the membership agreement) for all ACHEV activities, “Attire should be modest and appropriate for the occasion.”
