Getty Center

Join us for a docent led tour of the Getty Center in Los Angeles! During a Guided Lesson,
students study a limited number of objects in depth rather than tour the entire collection. The lessons are highly
participatory. Students work in small groups and engage in discussion, writing, role-playing, and, in some cases,
art-making activities.
Date: Friday, March 8, 2019 (RSVP by February 22)
Time: 10:30am arrival for 11:45am tour (Please allow for traffic and parking)
Place: Getty Center
Who: All ACHEV members K – 12 grades (younger children are not allowed)
We have space for 15 students and 5 parents.
Lunch: After our field trip we will plan to have a picnic lunch together. Please bring a packed lunch, if you would like to join us.
