Please join CASA for a tour of the amazing non-profit Christian organization, Joni and Friends on Friday, March 29, 2019 from 10 am – noon(optional lunch/park play date at local Reyes Adobe Park after the tour). We can have a maximum of 40 kids and parents attending. They need a head count ASAP soplease email me(amyrleite@gmail.com) the names of all attending and your kids ages. Please use the subject line: CASA JONI & FRIENDS FIELD TRIP. They prefer that the kids who attend are at least seven years old or older.

Once you email me, I will confirm your attendance by emailing you a pdf of a media release form. On occasion they highlight tour groups and visitors on Joni’s blog, their Facebook page or their Kids’ Corner website. In order to do that, they need a signed media release form for each personattending the tour. A parent or guardian’s signature is required for any person under the age of 18. Please bring your signed copies along to our tour.

If you aren’t familiar with this wonderful ministry, feel free to read below or check out their website: joniandfriends.org and their kid’s corner: https://old.joniandfriends.org/kids-corner/

“Joni and Friends is built on Biblical truth and the foundation of Jesus Christ. We are about advancing disability ministry and changing the church and communities around the world. The Joni and Friends International Disability Center (IDC) serves as the administrative center for ministries which provide outreach to thousands of families affected by disability around the globe…

Joni and Friends is answering the call in the Gospel of Luke 14, “invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind and you will be blessed…make them come in so my house will be full.”

We present the clear and concise Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people affected by disability and their families who are served through our programs around the world. We train, disciple, and mentor people affected by disability to exercise their gifts of leadership and service in their churches and communities. We energize the church to move from lack of awareness to including disabled persons into the fabric of worship, fellowship, and outreach.
