Please join us for a play date at Harbor Cove Beach in Ventura, also known as “Mother’s Beach” because this beach is protected from waves.  It is a great place for little swimmers to play in the water and big swimmers to really get out there without making mom worry. It is also great spot for kayaking or SUP.  We are bringing a kid size kayak, and my kids are happy to take turns with their friends if they want to give it a try.  Bring your wet suits, sand toys, sunscreen, hats and jackets ( you never know when the clouds will roll in or the wind will kick up). We will try to remember our volleyball if anyone wants to get a game going – they have several sand courts near the parking lot.

Parking is free and should be plentiful if you arrive around 10am.  There are restrooms in the parking lot. I will have a blue pop up tent.  When you walk out onto the beach, we will be set up to the right hand side in front of the right-most white buoy.

**Keep in mind that the fair is in town, so it is possible that traffic might be heavier than usual, especially if you come late.  The fair opens at 11am.

There is no need to RSVP, but it would be nice to know if you are planning on coming.  Just one rsvp for your family.
