What: Private ballroom dance classes for ACHEV at House of Dance – Lesson for 45 minutes, practice for 15 minutes.  The kids will have 15 minutes for the kids to practice to music on their own/with their friends and also to review the dances they have learned in the past so they don’t forget, and hopefully that will make the classes even more fun. It will be like a mini-dance party =)  Each dance will be taught for 4 weeks, so one dance will be learned per month.

Who: ACHEV and invited homeschooling friends ages 10 and up.  Please clear invited friends through Bonnie at bonnieadair@verizon.net.  We can keep a waitlist, as space may open for different sessions. We have to have equal number boys and girls in order for the class to work. Partners rotate throughout the class.

When: Wednesdays 4pm – 5:00 pm, beginning August 4^th
There will be four classes per month. For months with five Wednesdays, we will not meet the 5th Wednesday. 

These are the dances we would learn.  We can move the line up around, but it was organized so that it would alternate between a rhythm dance and a smooth dance:

·         Cha Cha

·         Waltz

·         East Coast Swing

·         Foxtrot

·         Nightclub Two-Step

·         Salsa

 Cost: Each 4 week session will be $40 per student.  That is only 10 per lesson per student.
