Don’t miss the ACHEV Science Fair!

When: Monday, May 3, 2021

Time: 6:30 to 8 PM (open for set-up at 6 PM)

Eligible grades: K – 12

This event is designed to be a forum for students to display a project from any of the science fields. Each student is required to include an age-appropriate written summary of their project or experiment as a part of their display. Older students should use the scientific method.

There will be no judging. Students will be provided with a 3’ x 3’ table space on which to display their project and will be expected to man their table for the first 40 minutes of the fair. The remaining time, they may look around at other students’ displays. All projects must remain up until 7:30 PM.

Your students may have their own ideas, or choose an experiment from your science curriculum.

Students must be registered by April 26, 2021, to participate. Space is limited. All ACHEV members welcome to participate.

Parents, we would like each participating family to sign up for an easy volunteer job. Bake cookies, help take down a few tables after, sweep floors, etc. All jobs will be simple and brief.

Please note, the church asks that we follow public health guidelines in place at the time of the event. We trust families to follow the guidelines to the best of their ability. It is not the job of the church or of ACHEV to ask anyone about masks or medical exemptions. Please be aware this means there may be some attending with masks, and some without masks. As with any activity, participation is voluntary.
