We are having beach day instead of Camarillo park day this first Tuesday of June.  We are going to get there early (10am) to make sure that we can get close parking.  It is nearing summer, and I like to beat the crowds, so please come and keep us company.

Join us for a beach play date on Tuesday June 5th at Carpinteria City Beach at the end of Linden Ave (near the intersection of Linden and Sandyland). It’s best to look for free street parking which is typically really close.  We will be meeting nearby the volleyball courts.   One tip I have for this beach is to bring shoes that will protect your feet from the hot sand while walking to and from the car and if you want to play Beach Volleyball, flip flops don’t do the trick.  The sand is beautiful and clean, but gets hot very quickly when the sun is out.  I will be there with my blue beach tent and my kids will have their body boards.  We are bringing a picnic lunch, but there is a neat little burger stand within walking distance from the beach called “The Spot”.
